I had the pleasure of working for Indigo for the Christmas/New Years holiday. I made a few friends, learned a few retail skills and tricks in that time. It was a welcome experience that allowed me to be on the other side of the shopping experience at one of my favourite stores. The scheduling allowed me to do what I needed to throughout the week, so I couldn't complain.
The up-sell (donations) that are required make stats go up and down, since it's really up to customers as to whether they want to give a dollar or more to their Love of Reading foundation for children.
