Pros: i really enjoyed the people i worked with and the enviroment
Cons: the pay was 6 weeks behind, they told me at the end of the summer that i was only temporary.
When starting this job everything was really new to me. I learned many things which included, drink measurements, serving food, making coffee and having a good customer service. During my time at the pub i worked during the Olympics which was a very busy time in Greenwich. This helped me learn all the new skills i had to acquire very quickly. I became
– more... alot better at remembering big orders when it was very busy which allowed me to clear the bar quickly. During the day time i learnt to serve food which i really enjoyed as it allowed me to learn waiting skills. The pub also had a coffee machine and i learned how to make many types of coffee’s for example, Americano, Espresso, Latte and cappuccino. I gained many new skills within this job and enjoyed my time working here. – less
