We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of Sponsorship Manager for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate’s primary focus will be to manage the sponsor activation program for the City Chase Series. This position lives inside of the Events Division and the individual will report directly to the Director of this Division.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Ability to execute and manage the Sponsorship Activation Plan for all City Chase sponsors – approximately 5 key clients
- Work with the VP of Sales to ensure client expectations are met, and that all deliverables are completed effectively and in a timely manner
- Over deliver on client expectations
- Ability to up-sell to regional sponsors (e.g. sampling/vendor, transit partners, media partners, hotels, rental cars, etc.)
- Preparation of bi-weekly Sponsor Reports – having an understanding of which elements are relevant and required from the event in order to build the report and create the post-event participant surveys
- Travel to all events across Canada to oversee and ensure quality control for all “Sponsor ChasePoint” challenges
- Hire, train and manage the reps and volunteers who facilitate the execution of the Sponsor ChasePoint
- Assist the members of the Events Division with tasks that support the overall execution of each event

Requirements:

- Must have very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to travel during the weekends
- Ability to work independently
- Strong management experience – ability to report up and manage down
- Highly organized and detail oriented; proven events project management experience
- Proficiency with Desktop Applications – Word, Excel, Power Point, and basic knowledge of social media
- Prioritization and alignment of multiple goals and objectives
- Maturity and comfort level interacting with senior executive both internally and externally including company partners
- Proven ability of consistency and accountability
- University degree or College diploma
