I would work 6 days a week and full time. I would arrive at 7:45 am until 5:00 pm. My job required me to cook, do minor housework, entertain the kids throughout the day, and help with schoolwork. I learned how to really be responsible for another human being. It taught me a lot of patience and compassion. The hardest part of my job was trying to keep – more... up with all the running around and the most enjoyable part was actually caring for the two kids. A typical day at work it like a day in your home you are just caring for someone else. I have learned that not everyone likes things done the easy way and that sometimes we move to fast and need to slow down a little bit. I love taking care of people and helping them. I love seeing the smile and deference I put in their life

Worked with special needs children, including those with learning disabilities, mental challenges and physical impairments.

A typical day of work consisted of providing food, entertainment, education and hygeine for a young child for 8 hours a day on weekdays. The responsibilities of child care were easily the most important I have undertook to date and although I enjoyed the prospect of rising to the challenge, I quickly learned that the joys far surpassed the challenges.

I really liked the challenge this job gave..I love meeting new people.we sold jewelry and jewelers from all over the world would come to see what we have.

A typical day at work was very refreshing the child was eager to learn and experience new things. I learned how to adequately care for children in a real world setting. I was the only person working, there weren't any co-workers.

This type of work benefited my family for over 8 years. I was home when I need to be, yet working, all at the same time. Now that my children are older, I feel new doors are opening for me and I am excited to use my experience, skills, and degree in the workplace.

Pass medications to 4 clients as I a live-in staff in the group home itself. I earned that this job will always hold a special place in my heart. The clients were wonderful people, they just had different issues than staff. Staff got beat up a lot, that does sound awful, but I understood the reasons behind their behaviors. They couldnt help it sometimes.

I was responsible for two school aged children and one toddler. I prepared breakfast, lunch, and occasionally dinner. I made sure all three children met and exceeded emotional, social, and developmental milestones. Prepared pre-school aged activities for the toddler and assisted the school aged children with homework. The hardest part of the job were – more... the personal life/work balance. i got a good experience about cleaning,,
i got learnt some good things about cleaning and discipline.

a typical day at work was sometimes busy, and a challenge and other days were laid back and slow. Although overall i enjoyed them.

Love children, love working with people, and trying to answer their questions. I do what I am told to do in a work force, without complaining or rolling my eyes. I enjoying laughing and smiling at people. If some one treats me in a disorderly manner, i keep a smile on my face and keep working.

Best place I have ever worked...very family oriented...met so many wonderful people...was a joy to go to work!!!!

Were good to work for. but after 9-11, they like everyone had problems with getting work and had to down size.
