Position Title: Regional Health & Safety Manager
Location: Williams Lake
A prominent organization within Canada’s natural resources industry is looking to welcome a Regional Health & Safety Manager to their team. With operations spanning across Northwestern Canada, this company has made a name for themselves as a progressive and familial organization with a foundation built upon quality, reliability and efficiency.
The Regional Health & Safety manager will work alongside the senior management team to oversee the safety programs for several of its facilities in the region. Working towards the goal of creating an injury free workplace, this individual will be responsible for providing direction and training, as well as implementing process improvements to promote safe work practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates applying to this position must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of occupational health and safety management experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in occupational health and safety is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills – must be comfortable facilitating group discussions and delivering presentations
- Disaster relief and/or fire safety experience is a major asset
