We are seeking a full time Technical Recruiter on a full time employment basis who will proactively identify and assess talent by implementing creative sourcing strategies for in-house projects as well as for external clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and possess the ability to be successful in a fast moving environment.
Identify high quality IT candidates through networking, research, and targeted direct recruiting - via social media, our internal database, and networking events.
Identify/clarify hiring specifications and competencies, document and confirm principal requirements to ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions, and develop action plans to maximize candidate sourcing.
Qualify candidates through recruiting calls – screening candidates for essential function/duties, work history, training, technical skills and salary requirements
Build relationships with candidates and their networks through active communication and a referral-driven approach.
Negotiate compensation packages for permanent jobs and rates for contract placements.
3-5 years experience with information Technology technical recruiting.
knowledge of IT terminology
Ability to differentiate between programming languages, databases, and Operating Systems; Proven ability with social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter); strong Internet research skills; proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
