Manufacturing leader seeks Generalist to be the Human Resources Manager in their Toronto non-union, consumer products facility. University Degree accompanied by either a C.H.R.P. designation or enrollment in the program along with and 4 to 7 years of experience. As part of the senior management team you will be reporting to the General Manager. This function is involved in the development and implementation of operational and strategic planning for the company in order to meet strategic objectives, budget goals and shareholders’ expectations. You will act as a business partner in the daily operations of the facility responsible for planning, managing and controlling the activities of the Human Resources. Activities include, but are not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, human resource planning, compensation management, leadership development, employee mobilization/communication and health and safety. In this role you will provide leadership, coordination and implementation of training in order to develop an employee population with the technical, behavioural and leadership knowledge and skills required to effectively compete in the marketplace. You will provide direction, coaching and guidance on human resources issues and actively work with all team members to identify priorities.
