Huntsville Hospital is well on its journey of moving into the digital era. This coupled with the replacement of our CT scanner, new heart monitors, improvements in chemotherapy care, chronic care, diabetes care, new surgical equipment all present a challenging but compelling story for community support.
The position calls for someone with a proven track record of a minimum of ten years in the field of fund raising at a senior level. The successful candidate will have a fulltime staff of two along with supportive medical staff and board of directors. Experience in volunteer recruitment, donor acquisition, development, solicitation and stewardship are key. Experience in employee supervision also an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. A background in public relations and communications is also helpful.
Preferred Education & Associated Accreditation
College or university diploma or degree in fundraising, business, communications, health services/health care, public relations, advertising, or marketing
Professional Fund Raising Accreditation (CFRE) and/or Health Care Public Relations Accreditation (HCPRA)
