The HSE Coordinator is responsible for the company health, safety and environmental programs and provides guidance to management, supervisors and employees on health, safety and environmental issues. This position frequently deals with issues of legislated compliance and confidential information. The position requires objectivity, empathy and diplomacy. The position requires dealings with management teams, employees, government agencies, insurance companies, medical professionals, contractors and customer representatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:
-Based in Red Deer, Alberta
-Excellent team leadership skills, as well as a demonstrable ability to motivate a staff with wide ranging abilities and skills.
-Certified Auditor
-Experience or knowledge of W.H.I.M.S., OH&S Act, Canada Labour Code, W.C.B. Act and legislation, risk management training or other HS&E related training,-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
-Professional and positive attitude, excellent work ethic, strong desire to learn and succeed

Experience Required:
-Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a HSE Coordinator role inside the oilfield services business preferred
-OH&S Diploma, Degree in relevant field or related equivalency.
