Executive Assistant / Office Manager (Current Employee), Chicago, IL – April 28, 2013
Fast paced environment and self managed. Great work space and work/life balance. Challenging work. Great co-workers. Hardest part is the restructuring we have gone through. The best part is the enjoyment I feel by helping people.
Hudson Global / Hudson Legal is a document review company that hires attorneys to review documents for Fortune 500 clients. To get the jobs, they constantly underbid. I started out making $25 per hour, then it got decreased to $24.50 and then decreased again to $23 per hour, so the pay is up and down, mainly down in this economy. Kept the bills paid, – more... that is about it. No room for advancement unless you stay there for 4 years and really, who can sit at a computer reviewing documents and not feel like your life is meaningless? Mgmt always complaining about something, the mgmt turned over quite a bit when I was there. No benefits whatsoever, no free parking, no overtime hours, no free lunches, nothing, nada, zip. All of the doc review companies are like sweat shops, I really did not like it. Being an attorney there pretty much sucks, the only good thing are the hours, you can come in and leave when you want to, because as long as you get 8 to 9 hours per day, it seems to be okay. Business casual dress environment. After one year, I finally found a full time job. Everyone there is a tattletale, so be careful who you tell your business to. – less
Solid backing of a large company with small company feel
Technical Recruiter (Current Employee), Waltham, MA – February 27, 2013
Pros: non micro-managing work environment
Cons: no room for growth
I work as a technical recruiter and have handled many different types of roles within the IT space. I find the work enviornment to have decent direction but I am looking for a place to grow and develop in the next stages of my career.

Temp Employee Supervisor / Handler (Former Employee), Hazleton, PA – November 15, 2012
Pros: fun atmosphere, friendly employees
Cons: demanding overtime hours, language barriers, low wages, respect of full time employees
Demand is high for the pay, not exactly what I would prefer for a career choice, but it did keep my bills paid but no savings. No benefits package, and hard to buy family extra things to maintain comfort level.
Very positive, professional team and working environment
Senior Consultant - Financial Services (Former Employee), Sydney, Australia – September 24, 2012
• Sole responsibility for building and maintaining continual growth in an untouched market for Hudson. • Strong end to end process understanding. • Pitching as well as securing retained business. • Sourcing the highest calibre candidates possible in the market. • Presentations to leading financial institutions leadership committees. • Repeatedly delivering – more... to new and challenging clients. • Daily research into Headhunting across the financial services industry. • Resourcing. • Mapping and scoping out future clients so that I had detailed understanding prior to introducing myself. – less
Director Business Development (Former Employee), Minneapolis, MN – August 28, 2012
Pros: training for employees
Cons: late to market
Offered ongoing training for a while on new service offerings, however being late to market with several offerings put them behind the curve with little to no support from marketing. Change in leadership may have things moving in right direction.
Assistant Manager/Cash Room Office (Former Employee), Ft Lauderdale Intenational Airport – August 22, 2012
Pros: nothing enjoyable
Cons: no place to eat clean and paceful
It is not a good company in terms of care about employees Very unsafe and pollute environmet. It does have any culture value, I do not consider a good company to work for Schedules from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
I don't think this comment is talking about the same Hudson. Hudson is a professional recruiting firm and does not have overnight hours.

Then why did you give it 5 stars?
Hudson Highland Group
Job Work/Life Balance
This place is a joke,
Independent Commercial Contractor (Former Employee), Westmont, IL – July 28, 2012
Pros: no pros at all - stay away
Cons: slow and short pay
They reduce your pay when they do pay you. They tell you it was needed to get the customer signed up. Very bad customer service. This is not a good place to work, people come and go you have no no say it what you do. You get the bills from customer you make proposal and you get contract signed. Hudson makes the money. You get shorted pay a month later – more... when you receive. They tell you that you are paid evey Tuesday, never happen – less
High pressure sales work place, ambiguous commission structure
Sales Rep (Current Employee), New York, NY – June 4, 2012
Pros: friday bagels
Cons: dead end job
Must be able to make 100 plus sales calls a day monitored. Sales manager unprofessional. Co workers were great. Commission compensation would never happen. Monotonous working setting on a dialer calling disco numbers. Poor morale or opportunities for job advancement.
Project Manager (Current Employee), Jersey City, NJ – May 8, 2012
Pros: flexible work schedule
Worked closely with Project executive and superintendent on all phases for each of the project managing at Hudson Inc. Was involved in all coordination of the project which allowed the project to move smoothly with little project issues and for a quick completion of the projects.
File Clerk (Former Employee), Pittsburgh, PA – January 28, 2012
Pros: free parking, free lunches once in a while, and 1 hr for lunch
Cons: short breaks
Hudson Highland Group was a nice place to work for. I made a lot of friends there.I got to know almost all of the employees there. It wasn't that far from my home and I had free parking. The management had free lunches for all the employees every once in a while, which was very nice.
