Automobile Insurance Broker (Former Employee) – Williams Lake, BC – 15 December 2017
i loved the job and my coworkers here, the clients were sometimes hard to deal with because of their hatred for ICBC and their rules. it was a great job for someone as a second income, or if you had roommates to share the cost of living with. trying to support yourself on this income as a single person was difficult.

There are many good things about working for HUB including salary, work-life balance, and benefits. The company is large enough that you should be able to advance if desired.
Most of my issues with the company are at the office level. There is very little accountability for the employees and managers. Most people will only do a minimum required and then pass off the rest of the work to someone else. I feel as though they need to consolidate roles to eliminate problems.
The way it is right now, you will get paid extremely well for very little work. Even though this is the case, many of the employees feel that they are underpaid for their knowledge base but these are typically the laziest employees that complain. I wouldn't say that HUB pays the best wages but they are definitely paying well for what they require of their lazy employees.
