I was research technician so I do not have to much information about the hospital but staff was friendly when I needed help (orientation or occupational heath). I wished they stayed at Mars building though.

Excellent clinical expertise, poor senior management capabilities
Director (Former Employee), toronto, onJune 23, 2013
Pros: strong culture, world reputation
Cons: strong culture has harmful side effects, culture of blame
Employed at Sickkids for 3 years in Director level role. Organization has strong clinical expertise and worldwide reputation in child health. Research facility is top tier.
Senior management is dysfunctional and lacks fortitude to make routine business decisions - becomes slavish to political decisions that can be harmful.
When issues arise in management, – more... they tend to evolve counter-productively to a culture of blame approach. – less

A very Pleasant place to work
Administrative Assistant/Program Assistant (Former Employee), Washington, DCJuly 2, 2012
Pros: free education, hours of operation and the learning
Cons: none accept the program was closed down
I wish they never closed the program KIPP down, because I would still be there. It was the most rewarding job that I ever had in my life. I love kids, but these children were my babies and I loved every last one of them. They had all kinds of disabilities and I learned a lot.
