Assembler II (Current Employee) – Fort Mill, SC – 25 January 2014
Working for Honeywell is an enjoyable experience. My coworkers are friendly and competitive. I place high expectations on myself because of my work ethics, that is were my focus is. I believe that management sees and will reward according to those efforts.
Very forward in technology and building system integration
Senior Project Manager (Current Employee) – Hamilton, ON – 25 July 2017
• Engaged with government agencies such as Infrastructure Ontario to manage projects from initial stages through to final completion • Managed and executed change orders and energy management by consulting with architects and engineers in order to complete the project • Directing the development and implementation of key initiatives to drive organizational success and achievement; consistently surpassing goals and boosting revenues while cutting costs
HVAC Technician (Current Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – 23 July 2017
They use you to make money , but dump you once the going gets though to safe money. They had a great benefit package, but they have taken most of it away. Only upper managment jobs are secured at honeywell, cause they only look after them selfs. Great place to learn a new skill, or get industry training, however dont get to comfy , as there is limited room for growing within the company.
Horrible management - all about cost cutting / salary freezes
Health, Safety & Environment Manager (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 4 July 2017
Bad senior leadership Heavy emphasis on cost cutting / cost controls - including regular emails about NOT purchasing office supplies Repeated forced days off without pay Repeated delays in annual cost of living adjustments - and repeated no salary adjustment years. Extensive delays and paperwork in staff replacements and repeated periods of hiring freezes
P3 Facility Management Administrator (Former Employee) – Hamilton, ON – 17 May 2017
Honeywell is a very large world wide organization which is sometimes challenging to work with colleagues in other countries due to some issues with communication. There is constant change in Management as they are moved from region to region, and position to position. Job security and benefits are somewhat lacking and the attitudes of many employees reflects gap.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 21 April 2017
Honeywell is a good place to find a semblance of work/life balance. It has a supportive and friendly team atmosphere. Management is great at providing regular updates and keeping everyone in the know about the company's growth, progress and challenges.
Field Service Supervisor (Former Employee) – Ottawa, ON – 7 April 2017
Loved working with Honeywell as I learned a lot in the field as well as learning from my Manager. I would only hire 'Team Players" which enabled us to help each other out to fulfill our obligation for the client.
Technical Support Specialist (Current Employee) – Mississauga, ON Canada – 25 March 2017
Very cheap company, they even don't give free coffee and you pay your milk, sugar and mustard. Management in Security and Fire department where I am working are kind of "do it and shut your mouth". They are doing very bad and are not opened to any new idea or suggestion Department is always under performing because they are doing and doing same thing other and other.
Stuffs are very kind
Nothing free, heath benefit is the worst I saw so far
