Our Superintendents and Building Managers will take on the challenge of looking after an entire apartment building. You and your partner will work in the building and live together in an apartment on site (we do not match people together; we recommend you apply with a partner who you already live with and know well). If you are organized, love to clean, skilled in maintenance/repairs, and thrive on providing excellent customer service, please read on.
You will be the "face" of Homestead and the go-to people for our tenants in the building. The professionalism and service provided by our teams is of huge importance to our customers and to the company.
You will need to submit one resume for each person in order to be considered for this role. A joined resume is acceptable for those who have worked together before.
Typical duties include:
-Conduct themselves in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
-Receive and promptly address residents’ concerns.
-Show vacant apartments to prospective residents.
-Carry out various administrative duties/paperwork - serve correspondence, collect rent etc.
-Follow a duty schedule ensuring cleanliness of building.
-Follow an "on-call" schedule on specified evenings and weekends.
-Maintain grounds in tidy "debris-free" condition.
-Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance.
-Monitor activity throughout the building, ensuring residents and their guests adhere to Homestead’s policies.
-Maintain fire safety logs.
-Respond appropriately and professionally to events and/or issues that occur at their worksite (with the support and direction of their Property Manager as required).
-Maintain exterior walkways in safe condition during winter conditions.
