HOURS: 8AM to 4:30PM

Responsible to the Manager, Business Analysis for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, management and communication for large sized projects. Primary responsibility is to manage the business needs of the project stakeholders including senior management, customers and end-users.
Serves as a liaison between the business and internal technology teams.
Involved throughout the strategic methodology life cycle, managing requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements.
Participates in conducting feasibility studies, preparing business cases and assisting in vendor selection process.
Responsible for requirement planning and management which includes; developing, executing and monitoring program or project requirement plans, developing risk management approach and monitoring requirement risks, managing product scope and requirements through the project lifecycle. Manages and resolves requirements conflicts, escalating issues to the Project Manager when appropriate.
Gather requirements from business users and subject matter experts primarily through facilitated workshops but also using other techniques including interviewing, job shadowing and documentation analysis.
Analyze business, user, data, functional and non-functional requirements using several techniques, prioritize requirements, create requirement documents, conduct requirement reviews and obtain project sponsor approval of requirements. Develops and conducts requirements presentations appropriate to the audience. Ensures all project team members receive requirements and subsequent requirement changes.
Assess and validate proposed solutions against requirements to ensure business needs are met and support testing and design activities.
Provides coaching for other business analysts on the team, acts as Business Analyst Lead for large and complex programs and champions business analysis best practices.

University / College degree in Information Technology or Business.
Understanding of Information Technology concepts, standards, procedures and policies including in depth knowledge of requirement analysis and modeling tools and techniques.
Experience working on small, medium to large business/system projects meeting time and quality targets/standards.
Experience analyzing and defining business requirements within a Supply Chain organization is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Extensive facilitation skills.
Experience working with senior level management staff.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to both business users and technical staff including formal business process documentation.
Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable while operating independently and as part of a team.
Ability to balance risk, cost and benefit.
