Learned How To Multitask
Cashier (Former Employee), Oakville, ONSeptember 29, 2014
Working at Tim Horton's gave me a lot of experience working with all sorts of people. I had to deal with different types of customers and co-workers. I became very good at multitasking because it was very rare that I was only doing one task, I always had to pay attention to my surroundings.

Pretty good place to work all in all. Not enough hours these days and pay could be higher. Good company values except for raises and pay rate.

Mercahandising Execution Associate (Current Employee), Markham, ONSeptember 24, 2014
Home Depot has the most versatile and multi-culture working environment. We start our day with projects but also end up helping a lot of customers. There is nothing in this job which is hard because I enjoy each and everything about this job. Meeting project deadline, helping customers and always trying to achieve the most we can.

Part-time Associates Need Only Apply
Cashier - Part-time (Former Employee), Orillia, ONSeptember 19, 2014
Pros: great same level staff, fun atmpsphere
Cons: odd hours, pay rate not reflective of market
I loved working at Home Depot. I did find that in our small town it was apparent that if you did not know someone then you were never going to move up. If an upper manager/supervisor did not like you, you were doomed. I did like the same level staff and the customers. People coming into a HD are either repairing or upgrading. Either way I was able to – more... help people and give great customer service. – less

Good place with good benefits
Kitchen Designer (Current Employee), MississaugaSeptember 18, 2014
Pros: good environment for learning
Cons: hard to work as a team with people who think they know everything.
It is a good place if you are looking for a start into a career, or if you are a student or graduate. The pay that they give you is not as good as other places, however they have amazing benefits.

Delivery Co-ordinator (Current Employee), windsor,onAugust 28, 2014
Pros: hourly wage is very competitive
Cons: poor management
The company started out fantastic, it was a great place to work. However over the years it has declined. Still a good place to work, but not that family feeling when you walk through the door.
