Prepare and cook full course meals, individual dishes and foods. Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions. Work with minimal supervision. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.). Clean kitchen and work areas. Wash dishes.
Be familiar with the preparation of stocks, soups, sauces, eggs, dairy, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, vegetables, fruits, nuts, mushrooms, meat, poultry, pasta, fish, seafood and pizza.
Be able to read text, communicate orally, work with others, plan and organize tasks.
