The primary responsibility of this position is the procurement of both guestroom and convention business for the hotel to optimize revenue and to handle all aspects of conventions booked within the property. Other responsibilities include, liaising with the convention contact once you or the Sales Manager has confirmed the booking as definite.
This position is the key contact for the Meeting Planner. They are responsible for ensuring all requirements of the group are met. They may direct or supervise convention service staff to accomplish this. Creates and provides best practices for convention services, food and beverage departments for meetings. – less
