Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly operational reports. Preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements. Preparation of tax returns and other CRA tax filings. Preparation of Statistics Canada reports. Assistance with quarterly and annual reporting for various third parties.Assistance with management reporting and analysis.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities in financial accounting and corporate taxation in addition to excellent writing and communication skills. Working for a growing company, the candidate must be adaptable and open to an ever changing work environment. A business degree, an accounting designation (CA, CMA, and/or CGA) and two or more years of financial accounting and taxation experience is required. Candidates working toward an accounting designation will be considered if the candidate has the required experience.
