This place, at one time, was a fantastic place to work. It was family and life oriented. A few years ago, when Hill-Rom started injecting it's corporate ideals into a small, tight knit company, it started a rapid decent. Management is terrible, particularly the Director of Operations. He is rude, discouteous to employees and has no regard for real life occurences. Advancement? Forget it. They will promote you, hand you a larger workload, but restructure the payscale of your job so you won't get a raise, just the "potential" to make more. The only way you are recognized is if you're an engineer, which is an overstaffed and overpaid department. All the talent in operations management has left and went on to better places. Aside from a few good eggs, it is sincerely a poor place to work and I would advise you reconsider applying here. If you are into no recognition for hard work, a pretentious Director of Ops who will treat you like a robot and no real talent development, by all means, subject yourself to this type of beration. Good luck and consider this a just and fair warning.
