SPRING 2013 INTERNSHIP Production/Artist Management – Hermann & Audrey [UNPAID – FOUR MONTHS – PART TIME]
OVERVIEW Seeking Production/Artist Management intern to assist the Producers and Agents of Hermann & Audrey in Toronto. The ideal candidate will utilize their natural organizational skills to expedite high priority projects and over see selected Production/Artist Management responsibilities. This position requires strong multitasking skills, knowledge of pre/post production and the ability to interface with agencies, editors, art buyers, artists and publishing houses. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated to drive results and facilitate projects. Priority will be given to a proactive, creative mind that is looking to see their ideas come to life and the commitment to see things through.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and develop opportunities to build industry contacts and prospective clients
Attend production meetings and take detailed notes
Monitor/book meetings with agencies, publications and potential clients
Manage the artist portfolio drop off/pick-ups
Maintain up-to-day database management
Assist with productions on and off site
Assist with documentation of productions (schedules, call sheets, project wrap-up, team learnings, and profit and loss)
Assist in building creative marketing materials for each artist
Assist in the planning and execution of the H&A exhibit
Assist special sponsorship requests for photography exhibit
Assist in follow ups and thank you gifts/notes
Office administration
Contribute to our blog/social media
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate confidently, effectively and diplomatically.
Strong writing skills
Demonstrate ability to manage projects from conception to completion
In-depth knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe CS5 and MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
