Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is looking for talented sales professionals to join our well established sales teams in Calgary, AB.
The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2-5 years direct sales experience in International Logistics and must meet the following requirements:
Ability to maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors through prospecting, cold calling and new client acquisition.
Sound knowledge of global logistics and supply chain as well as global forwarding sales experience in airfreight, ocean freight, ground freight, and value added services.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are required in order to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territory.
Experience in the use of a Customer Relation Management (CRM) System to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
Goal-Oriented, highly motivated and able to develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling.
Strong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills and business acumen
Possess a strong work ethic, is self-motivated and enthusiastic and has a demonstrated ability to identify successful sales tactics to compete aggressively to close business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (internally and externally)
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, but as part of a team to reach a common goal
