Helical Pier Systems is seeking Labourers/Fire Watchers to join our team in Edmonton.

Hourly wage is $22-$24.

Position Summary: The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment in all types of weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to help move material and large objects. You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision- making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions.

You bring the following: · Work well with others; · Capable of working within a fast paced environment; · Ability to follow direction, remain alert, and maintain a high level of concentration; · Have good judgement and the ability to react quickly; · Knowledge of, or training in, WHMIS, OSSA is considered an asset; · Construction / Swamper experience considered an asset

Conditions of employment include: · High school diploma or GED, or acceptable combination of education and experience; · Class 5 drivers licence, a vehicle and a clean drivers abstract for the past three years; · *Construction and Equipment experience preferred*; · Related Certificates (PST/CSTC, First Aid, H2S Ground Disturbance, TDG, Skid Steer experience) are assets; · Pass a 50lb physical fitness test and a Drug & Alcohol test.

This is an out of town position, working in all weather conditions for up to a six week rotation. 6 days on 1 off, 10-12 hour days.
