We are currenlty looking for a Vendor Advisor to join our Sales Analytics team.
o Lead and implement category management initiatives with Loblaw
o Lead the category management process by analyzing, interpreting and communicating mutually beneficial business opportunities for the category at the customer level.
o Guide key account managers to ensure category management approaches are followed with all key accounts.
o Provide fact based category insights and planogram recommendations to the customer
o Provide strategic direction in order to grow the category, including weekly reporting and analysis on both their business and the industry as a whole
o Collaborate with the buyer to establish annual category business plans
o Assist in developing planograms for customers in all regions
o Provide monthly and quarterly reviews focusing on the customers key metrics
oUtilize various customer data sources to track, analyze and evaluate internal sales and external business trends and competitive gaps and offers actionable insights to achieve profitable category business growth goals
o Develop Nielsen based reports & presentations to support the sales team
o Maintains a high level of industry, category, customer and consumer expertise.
o Spends quality time in stores evaluating product, planogram and promotion performance, the competition and to keep up to date on all retail/banner strategies, etc.
o Work with KAM’s and the customer to highlight opportunities and risks
o University degree in Business/Marketing along with 3 – 5 years Category Management experience
o A thorough understanding of MarketTrack, Homescan and U&A
o Planogram experience using various software solutions (Spaceman, Apollo, ProSpace)
o Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to impact at all levels of the organization
o Detail oriented with the ability to thrive in fast paced environment
o Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint
o Valid driver’s license is imperative.
