This individual will be responsible for the regional execution of best in class’ consumer advertising, promotion and sponsorship. He/she will report into a Commercial Director.
SCOPE OF TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:
Strategy: Leads brand strategy development including brand planning & communicating to key stakeholders
Visibility: Responsible for setting annual brand target/ vision by channel.
Promotion: Defines with Regional Director all visibility items on and off premise & promotion mechanics.
Sponsorship: Leads key brand activation including POS, promotions, sponsorship and experiential programming.
Inventory Management: Coordinates with Supply Chain all improvements signaled by Regional Director
Bachelor degree or equivalent required. Preference for marketing, communication, or business concentrations.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FMCG industry with in Brand Development or Management. Agency experience considered. Retail Trade experience considered a plus. Prior experience in the Beer industry and/or knowledge of the Canadian beer market is highly desired.
-Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business is essential.
-Ability to work and build relationship with stakeholders: Distributors/ Regional management, Finance
- Strong analytical skills , providing analysis and understanding of key business metrics
- Clear demonstration of leadership, team commitment and ability to lead and influence others
- Excellent marketing skills but is sales friendly and demonstrates understanding of the selling process
- Prior experience managing brand budgets
- Strong business acumen
Fluent English is essential (also in writing) * Spanish & French are desirable
