Bookeeper (Former Employee), Springfield, MO – July 18, 2012
Pros: flexible hours, lack of interruptions, learned another bookeeping system, worked with and accountant.
Cons: complex due to 4 companies, sometimes info not given in a timely manner.
This was mostly a solitary work -alone position in an office. Management would show up for a portion of the day usually only for a couple of hours. This arrangement worked well after the initial hiring period because I did not have interruptions and could systematically do the various tasks associated with doing books for 4 seperate companies. Most – more... communications were done by phone and I could generally get a hold of the manager or the owner to have my questions answered. Overall the job fit well with my life at that time as I had another seasonal part time job for 4 months of the year. – less
