Growing, dynamic, busy multi-specialty ophthalmology office is looking for an ophthalmic technician.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has had experience working in an ophthalmologist's office or a graduate of ophthalmic assistant program OR someone who is aspiring for career in medicine/will be applying for medical school and possesses leadership skills required for this position.
We are willing to train a candidate without prior experience if you are enthusiastic, bright and capable.
This position would require ability to perform all the duties of an ophthalmic technician (pre testing in a very busy setting, ability to perform/troubleshoot OCTs, visual fields, other equipment) as well as leadership skills required to manage a group of 2 other technicians.

The starting salary for this position would be $14-18/hour depending on your previous experience and qualifications. You will be expected to work anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week so flexibility is an essential requirement for this job.
