Our Client is seeking a Sr. Digital Media recruitment consultant to focus on recruitment for their Digital Media department. This is a 1 year contract role with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent. The recruitment consultant will partner with line management to ensure the short and long term recruitment requirements for the business are met.
Responsibilities Include:
Partnering with line management to understand their business objectives and corresponding staffing needs and to develop an overall recruitment strategy within the business unit
Facilitate the entire recruitment process, including, but not limited to, creating and posting job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating interviews with hiring managers to final offer/hire stage
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers on defining staffing strategies
Leverage best practice candidate sourcing and your recruiting expertise
Maximize the efficiency and timeliness of recruitment processes while demonstrating the highest level of quality and integrity to potential hires
Apply competency-based selection processes
Track applicant activity and other recruitment and selection measures through our Taleo applicant tracking system
Assess areas of opportunity to enhance the recruitment and selection process for all areas of the business
Develop and execute effective and efficient staffing solutions from a variety of sources, applying market knowledge and knowledge of recruitment legislation
Provide appropriate, relevant and timely feedback to applicants and clients
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in an administrative or business-related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in staffing/recruiting role within the media industry
Experience with behavioural and competency-based interviewing
Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of sourcing channels and contacts
Demonstrated experience in using the Corporate or agency recruiting experience where a large proportion of your job responsibilities included complex hiring and staffing initiatives
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong sense of urgency
Willing to work flexible hours to meet challenging and changing deadlines
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize
A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up
Demonstrated business professionalism, respect for confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information
Personal computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Taleo
