Our client located, in Richmond Hill, has gone through considerable growth in its 6 yrs of existence. As a result, they are looking for an HR Manager who will work in a stand alone role. In this role, your main responsibility will include partnering with management to ensure that all areas of human resources are aligned with the corporate culture, business requirements and organizational objectives. You will be able to take on a leadership role and help in the growth and development of this young, vibrant, growing company.

Some of your main levels of responsibility will be:

  • promoting the company values and mission and providing leadership to all employees and managers
  • work with the management team to develop HR initiatives that support the growth of the company
  • assist in the coaching of all managers to be able to deal with any issues that may arise
  • maintain and facilitate company‚Äôs compensation program and related salary reviews
  • liaise with payroll department regarding administration of payroll and compensation related matters
  • oversee coordination of team-building, social events and traditions
  • provide full cycle recruitment support: sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing and presenting a diversified and high quality pool of candidates to hiring managers
  • work with management to build and develop a strong recruitment plan for the company
  • other duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 5-7 yrs of relevant work experience
  • CHRP designation and a member in good standing with HRPA
  • a minimum of 3 yrs of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • have the ability to continuously juggle multiple work priorities that can change at a moments notice
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
