My client, an industry leading property company specializing in high rise condominiums in downtown Toronto, is in search of a Jr. Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic growing team.
As a part of this dynamic Team, you will report to the Sr. Accounts Payable Manager. The Jr. Accounts Payable Assistant will get full exposure assembling all invoices for cheque signers, as well as preparation for mailing. You will further your expertise by following up with vendors regarding invoices on statements which have not been received. You will also process purchase order related invoices and create purchase orders for various departments. Lastly, you will coordinate with other purchasing clerks when required and help out if any general administration duties are needed in the office.
Keys to success in this role will be candidates with advanced written and spoken (English) communication, administrative skills, and an excellent telephone manner. You computer literacy will require JD Edwards, and advanced Excel. Also candidates should have exceptional time-management, planning, and ability to organize and prioritize workload. Lastly, a successful candidate for this role will demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, flexibility, and is a team player.
