i liked working there because it was something not complicated to do and i worked with my sister cleanin, but the people who go shoping there felt unconfortable with our presence , so that is the main reason i left.

Depending on the location management can be really great at their job or really terrible and not care about the associates. The pay for part time CSRs is awful considering how much work we really do. I have also had bad experiences with my direct manager just not knowing how to handle her own responsibilities or how to be a team leader. You would think an adult knows how to solve problems without acting like a petty child, but nope, not at Harry Rosen. The sales associates also ONLY work on commission, no hourly involved. The only good thing about this company is that if you would like to move up to the office and you have the right qualifications it is possible as most central office jobs are posted internally. Other than that, there are better high end retailers who treat and compensate their associates a lot better than Harry Rosen does.

Don't go on sick leave, they'll fire you while you're sick and claim you abandoned your job. Great pay and benefits though. The top producers do what they want, scoop your sales, you name it. If you bring it up to management they will tell you to worry about yourself and continue to let it happen.

I worked there for almost two years as a cashier. The management team will never be on your side or help you out. Your own manager doesn't stick up for you. Constantly getting in trouble for things that are not your fault or even your job.

I found the sales associates to be very negative and not always have the customers best interest in mind. There were little reprimands to sales associates who interacted poorly with customer service representatives. People in the CSR position work very hard and do not get paid well.

The staff is very friendly and the benefits and discounts are great, however you are constantly being talked down by the sales associates and customers. Its a cut throat environment and barely anyone in admin ever gets a promotion.
