Executive housekeeper (Current Employee), Mount Laurel, NJNovember 9, 2014
Pros: learning more and more each day
Cons: benefits
Typical work day Manging a staff to clean rooms for nthe guest
I have learned to manage and train staff
My co-workers are a great group of people that help me learn more and more each day
The hardest part is trying to make everyone happy

sucks
Front Desk Clerk (Former Employee), Chesapeake, VANovember 5, 2014
Overall this job was ok. But there are no benefits, no sick days and management really does not care if you get sick, have a death in your family, etc. They just say oh well, suck it up.

Housekeeper (Former Employee), Ames, IANovember 5, 2014
Pros: cleaning, guests
Cons: scrubbing tubs
Recieve room list, stock cart with proper linens, strip linens from rooms and take to laundry room. Put clean sheets and towels in rooms clean and sanitize the rooms. Fill with proper condiments. Empty trash. Vacuum and spray room. When room is done mark on the sheet and give to head housekeeper at end of shift. For her to check the rooms to make sure – more... they are to the standards of the hotel. – less

Hope to find a new job soon.
Everyday was a new journey which was good, but not the path I want to go down.
I will not be taken advantage of the way I have been since I was hired.

Breakfast Attendant/Host (Current Employee), North Wales, PAOctober 29, 2014
Pros: just breakfast
Cons: no breakes
A typical day at work is making sure all my breakfast food is prepared at the right temperature and always stocked. I learned how to manage time more. And the most enjoyable part at work is that I work must of the time alone.
