We are currently searching for a Staff Training Coordinator for our client in Labrador City, Newfoundland
Staff Training Coordinator:
Reporting to the Training Section Manager the Training Coordinator is responsible
for providing operations personnel with necessary training to ensure safe, efficient
and cost effective operation. In addition, this role is required to develop training plans, training material and competency measures as required. The position also is responsible for delivery of training from both internal and external training providers.
To be successful, the incumbent must possess:
*Experience in training in a mining or heavy manufacturing environment
*Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
*Strong commitment to continuous improvement and safe operations
*Excellent skills with computerized training programs & conventional training
*Ability to generate, organize, track and maintain training records to report on
established key performance indicators
*Ability to develop personal, group and departmental training plans
*Ability to identify training needs and develop solutions to meet company and
*Post-secondary degree in training or relevent discipline
