Our client is looking for a versatile HR specialist who is ready for a challenging new opportunity.
Areas of Responsibility:
The HR Specialist is responsible for carrying out the company’s policies and programs related to staffing, employee retention, compensation, and supporting the company culture and driving engagement. The HR Specialist will focus on general Human Resources tasks and special assignments as required. Key responsibilities include:
- Staffing, including pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks and orientation
- Administrative duties, including preparing payroll for direct deposit and maintaining employee files
- Benefits administration, including coordinating the benefits program and acting as liaison between the service provider and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a diverse HR background, with a certificate in Human Resources Management or Human Resources Business Administration and a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a proven record for building trusted relationships. To succeed in this position, the candidate must balance exceptional interpersonal skills with strong numerical, analytical and problem solving abilities. Thorough knowledge of HR processes and principles is required, as are exceptional administrative skills.
