We are seeking a full time Estimator/Project Coordinator for a growing management company in Victoria, B.C. The Estimator/Project Coordinator will work with commercial, industrial and residential projects and must be able to engage professionally with industry suppliers, clients and all professionals. This position will entail the person working closely under the Estimator and Project Manager.

-Assist with tendering projects.
-Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in day to day project administration
-Work under the direction of the Project Manager and Superintendent to learn company systems.
-Assist in attaining subcontractors and material supply quotes.
-Coordinate job-related photographs for records.
-Act as a liaison between subcontractor and Project Manager.
-Maintain and update the Shop Drawing Log, review Shop Drawings and submittals.
-Assist Project Manager in tracking responses, maintaining up- to-date logs and inform the Superintendent and Project Manager of status of RFI.
-Coordinate submittals and procure all close-out documents.
-Comprehend and perform document control functions in compliance with on-site policy and procedures, which comprises of tracking submittals, maintaining project expediting. list and generating tracking invitations to bids.
-Attend project management meetings as requested and/ or required.

-Minimum 1 years’ experience in a related position involving residential, industrial and commercial
-Minimum education of a College diploma in a building construction related field
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
-Understanding of construction terminology, planning concepts and scheduling is a must
-Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills are critical
-Must be willing to adapt and learn
