Reporting to Director, Supply Chain, YOU possess an engineering degree, and are an experienced Engineering Maintenance Professional, with team supervisory and leadership skills; as well as demonstrated experience managing buildings, grounds, and equipment maintenance for a large distribution facility. You are a strong communicator, problem-solver, and project manager. You also must have experience with Health & Safety portfolio in a leadership role, as you will be tasked with leading H&S committee meetings, and maintaining or designing procedures around H&S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage maintenance department, including mechanics and electricians
  • Manage building, grounds, and equipment maintenance for a large distribution facility
  • Manage departmental budget, expenses & spending plan
  • Sound project management, KPIs, resource planning
  • Responsible for overseeing Health & Safety procedures, and leadership around best-practices
  • Process Improvement responsibility
  • Management of key vendors, such as security services and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering,
  • At least 6+ years’ experience around engineering maintenance functions; facilities & equipment maintenance management
  • Team leadership experience, supervising skilled and hourly employees
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills
  • Strategic mind-set; strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong cost and financial analysis background
  • Bilingual, English/French (spoken & written)
