Position: Financial and Business Analyst Status: Full Time Reports to: Controller
Responsibilities:
Assemble and present data to management and make recommendations as necessary
Prepare and report on monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Maintain Fixed Asset and Balance Sheet schedules
Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and trends
Prepare annual financial information for external auditors
Assist in the budget and reforecast processes
Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization
Develop, maintain and distribute reports and financial models as needed
Ensure Data Entry employees enter billing information correctly. Conduct random audits to maintain accuracy
Department and segment profitability analysis.
Assist in creating matrices/statistics for all client accounts
Monitor production efficiencies and address deficiencies where needed
Liaise with business units to streamline processes and implement change
Participate in developing and coordinating project procedures, schedules and workflow
Run various reports on a weekly basis
Other duties as required
Skills/Qualifications:
University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
3-5 years relevant work experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Solid organizational and project management skills
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and comfortable keyboarding for long periods
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
