Job Description:
At Ottawa General Contractors we do both home renovations and new home builds. We operate in a fast-paced competitive environment, but our main goal is to give our clients the best renovation experience possible.

We are looking for someone to join our material selections department in the cost admin role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering and purchasing all finishings.

Overview of Responsibilities

Work with the material selections and design team
Contact suppliers to coordinate orders
Coordinate architectural and structural changes as per request
Prepare costing of upgrades, changes & selections from catalogues and building contracts
Consultation between design, material selection and project management regarding the implementation of styles and selections
Work to create solutions to problems and errors as they arise
Clarify cost disputes with trades people using building contracts, measurements and material

Requirements

2-3 years cost admin experience
Computer skills in MS Office, Autocad
Knowledge of Renovations and/or home construction
Knowledge of Ontario Building Code
Valid drivers license

Compensation
Negotiable based on experience
