We are currently seeking a full-time Heavy Duty Truck Warranty Analyst/Clerk. This position requires proficiency in Excel, well-rounded general administration experience and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Job Duties

  • Pcess warranty claims on a timely basis. Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide customer service regarding warranty questions and service
  • Verify criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receive authorization to write them off.
  • Follow up on payment of outstanding claims.
  • Track warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed.
  • Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrapped.
  • File and maintain all service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor.
  • Keep track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.
  • Maintain all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Strong investigative and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Proven data entry, data editing and typing skills.
  • Professional appearance and manners.
  • Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management.
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of clients and be proactive in preventing complaints .
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing .
  • Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.

Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training purposes.
  • Over time as required but minimal during peak times.
