Grantech Engineering International Inc., GTI, is a quality and results oriented corporation providing conceptual, PreFEED, Front End Engineering Development (FEED) and detailed engineering, procurement, project management, commissioning, and start-up services to the oil and gas industry.

Reporting directly to Grantech’s President and CEO, the Sr. Business Development / Sales person plans and coordinates the activities of the Business Development group. Additionally, they will conduct evaluations of market trends to determine the most suitable direction to steer the Business Development group to ensure Grantech’s success.

Main Duties:

  • Working closely with the President and C.E.O. to determine the business development needs for Grantech
  • Work with various clients (including BD representatives, VPs, Engineers, etc) at oil and gas companies, as they look at developing new or existing technologies / processes
  • Identify best places for networking, along with industry events/conferences to attend/send representatives, etc
  • Provide feedback to Grantech’s marketing and branding program
  • Support Grantech’s mission and mandate
  • Provide technical support to other areas of Grantech’s organization, on an as-needed basis
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Company's vision and strategy
  • Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns
  • Develop, review, and report on the business development division's strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team

Employment Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Business Development / Marketing experience out in the field
  • Experience in the oil & gas sector
  • A proven track record as a client-driven, entrepreneurial service provider, including a sound knowledge of engineering practices
  • Knowledge of the EPCM client base and industry
  • Active “go getter”, drive to create sales and build client relations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and driven to succeed
  • Results focused
  • Excellent communication skills / definite people person
