Open office environment, however there is no work life balance. People do not care much about your life outside of work.

Good Place to work
Tire Technician (Former Employee), Fayetteville, NCFebruary 8, 2014
Pros: good discount on tires and car service
Cons: weather conditions can plays a part in production, (overall a great place to work and grow).
*12hrs days great benefits and the work is continuance overall a excellent job to grow.

*Like on any job safety is always no.1.

*Management if you need them they are there to help you what every the problem may be. If it job related are not.

*Good relationship with co-worker I have always been able to work side by side with any one. My main objection – more... is to get the job done currently and safety.

*Some time weather conditions can play a big part in production, it could be a number of things but, (it what you make it).

*Getting the job done safety a correctly first. The job also provide company picnics and social events. Overall 1-10 Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., rates a 10. – less

Car mechanic (Former Employee), Overland Park, KSJanuary 30, 2014
Pros: loose work environment
Cons: dealing with multi-thousand dollar machines and their owners
It was extremely helpful for me to be working in an environment again with at least a little dangerous element. Working conditions, as such, become more about safety instead of comfort. I feel I work infinitely better under a lil duress. You get to yell, at work, at your boss! Can't beat it.

Sales to Service Manager (Former Employee), Mobile, ALJanuary 27, 2014
The typical day at Goodyear starts with numbers and what to achieve. It's a game of sales and customer service, so meeting those standards are a priority - but only after safety is met. Follow these guideliness, and keep to policy - you will enjoy the job.

Exciting fast pace sales environment
Service Manager (Current Employee), houston, TXJanuary 16, 2014
Pros: benefits, employee discounts, pay, positive environment
Cons: high sales expectations, some understaffing, scheduling long hours
Definitely a lot of opportunity to move up in the company. Must be able to provide top notch customer service and maintain optimal sales growth. Management can be demanding once you start answering to upper levels but in store management is laid back and friendly as long as you are doing well at your job. Schedules can be very hectic and balancing outside – more... life with a position of higher responsibility with this company can be difficult as scheduling can be very demanding. Overall great company to work for with plenty of opportunity to grow within company. – less
