About GMR Marketing
GMR Marketing brings products to the people. The company produces product promotions at shopping malls, temporary retail locations, concerts, sports, and lifestyle activities such as car shows and spring break events, as well as "virtual" events tied with video games and online spaces. It provides all-inclusive services -- from concept and design to – more... construction and site management. Productions have included the Microsoft Xbox Odyssey, the Kraft Food and Family Show, and the Miller Lite Racing Garage. GMR also conducts promotional work for sites such as Facebook and Twitter. It has about 20 offices worldwide. Gary M. Reynolds founded the company in 1979. It is a part of The Radiate Group, a unit of Omnicom.
The company is focused on international expansion. In 2011 it turned its efforts to the Asia/Pacific region when it opened offices in Australia and Singapore. The previous year GMR launched an office in London as a springboard for future growth in Europe. The company also extends its international jurisdiction by partnering with other marketing firms overseas. In 2010 it entered working agreements with Yonhanaro Communications (in Korea) and Communication Unlimited (in Poland).
GMR is able to rely on its parent company for growth. In early 2010 Omnicom merged Delfin Integrated Marketing, a former Radiate Group unit, with GMR, giving GMR a strong presence in Spain by adding locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville. During that same time period, Omnicom also rebranded a German marketing firm under the GMR Marketing name, which added locations in Munich and Frankfurt to GMR's global network. – less
