New challenges and very productive.
Pros: free makeup allocation
Cons: unsociable working hours.
Every day is different, you could be thrown another obstacle at any time, but I always use my initiative to over come any of these.
I've learnt many things in this job, for example the different types of customers you get, learning all their wants and needs. I've learned to approach customers in a very polite, positive and comfortable way.
I've also learnt a lot about myself in this industry, I can be put under severe amounts of pressure and still come out on top. I can use my own initiative and put my mind to a project that can become a huge success.
My typical day at work, I would come in, double check and know my targets, set up for the day making sure everything will flow smoothly throughout the course of the day. Run through/adjust Stock Level Adjustments and make sure we have enough of every product for the whole week. At quiet times I would traffic stop to get my company some business and always look productive and approachable.
The hardest part of my job I would say would be dealing with all different types of managers, weather it be counter manager or regional side of management etc. It's finding the perfect balance on how to please everyone and finding what their want's and needs for the business are. The hours I work I find quiet difficult as they're different every day and can be quite unsociable.
The most enjoyable part of my job is interacting with people from all walks of life. I thoroughly enjoy pleasing every customer that walks away with a smile knowing that I've helped them get and understand everything that they need coming into my boutique. I strive to hit targets and achieving goals that are set for me day to day and being thrown new challenges.
