I was a system analyst for NAPA TRACS, their individual program for mechanics and individual NAPA stores.
I learned about the system based upon UNIX.
Co-workers were helpful in learning new aspects of support.
I enjoyed very much walking customers through steps that were difficult for them. I also enjoyed learning new avenues of the IT field.

Get there about 730, send out parts that came over night, pull parts on orders, dispatch/track drivers, set lunch schedule for drivers and send to lunch, and check in some of the UPS shipment (other part is for the inventory crew).
What I learned at this job is that everybody working at the store plays a key part in the success of the business, and – more... missing anyone out of the crew makes the rest of the crew work a little harder to cover the missing person which after so long can start to make the company not be efficient and can take a toll on the company's success.
My co-workers at Napa are some very awesome people.
Hardest parts: Lacking other employees and larger orders in a higher demand time during the day.

WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR - YOU ARE SLAVE LABOR!!

Cons: management, bonuses being cut, long long hours!
I was a territory sales rep and it was the worst experience I ever had. Overbearing management that will work you 60-70 hrs for a mid range income. They take you away from your territory to do janitorial duties. The store owners run the dc and they cheat and steal from you and it doesn't matter. I work a typical hourly 8 hour work day. My day begins with reports, checking voice mails/faxes and emails. Then the phone calls start and do not end until my shift ends. My job requires a lot of research and I need to pay attention to detail as I am managing hundreds of accounts each day.
