A normal day at Napa is pretty laid back. All employees know what their daily responsibilities are and jump to it as soon as we walk into the store daily. Usually deal with great customers because we all do our best to do the job right the first time.

i had to make sure the truck was ready to go out at night the pepole was very nice to work for and i love it

I WOULD DELIVER AUTO PARTS TO BUSINESSES. I WOULD STOCK THE INVENTORY. MY COWORKERS WERE VERY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL AND HARD WORKERS. During my short time with Napa I really enjoyed it. The staff that worked for me was great and dependable. My home office in Wilson, NC was even better, they were always there for me if I had any questions, they were all very supportive. I left there because it was I and I only who failed to deliver what I promised them. Absolutely no fault of there – more... own for my leaving. They use you, abuse you, bully you, threaten you and then after a career of loyalty to them and sacrifices, they spit you out like you are a worthless rag.

I was the Human Resource Manager for the past 13 years and was responsible for all aspects of the position. I interacted with 300-350 employees on a regular basis from 19 different site locations. It was a joy to be a part of that and very hard to see it end.

I spend most of the day on the road delivering parts to servicers. The company is in flux as it just merged with another company. All the workers are friencly and easy to get along with.

The store was a fun place to be and socialize with customers and I was very productive there.

It is a good place to work with the accountability factor. It really helped me with my understanding of cars.

excellent place to work, we are an independent company so there's not alot of oppurtunity for advancement. Im looking to get out of the jobber store and go into a more professional enviroment at the oe dealer in a parts department.

Great individuals, owner, and customer base was very fluent. Friendly, fun and made the work day enjoyable.

I had a good 5 years with NAPA. As a driver all you really have to do is make sure your invoices match your parts, take a radio, and that's about it.

Great company except HR manager is unfair, great advancements

I worked for this company for a week,no training,no introductions,went with someone first week, that it ,let loose on my own,also at interview said keeping transport in house, when I started the same man said who interviewed looks it was going out to third party contracter,so another lie,no benefits and lower wages,the last of all the manager (so thay – more... call themselves)are loose cannons,so glad I'm not part this outfit anymore,work for carquest by far superior company ,wish I stay there ,anyway I did not ,learned the hard way,onwards and upwards and forget about this bad experience , and move on – less

I would come in start checking in stock, answering phones, taking care of customers

Learned detail car parts. Answer phone calls from retail or commercial customers, put or clean the inventory.

Not a lot here to say. The day starts waiting for pick-up orders from car dealers and delivering parts to mechanic shops. Stock shelves, keep store clean. Most enjoyable part of the job was being on the road.

i got to meet new people i was always on the road my boss was great
