Provide superior customer service to part of an existing book of business with superior customer service skills. Upsell insurance products in a professional manner to improve the profitability of the company. Effective communication skills on the telephone and in business letters required.

Key Duties:
Respond to all client inquiries by phone or fax, in a timely, and accurate manner.

Make contact with clients to review their renewal policies ensuring their coverage is accurate and up to date by phone and discuss in detail any changes in coverage.

Maintain current product knowledge and underwriting criteria for all markets to develop new accounts and provide seamless service.

Contact clients concerning registered letters who warrant reinstatements.

Provide claims advice to clients.

Review monoline accounts and provide quotes for eligible business to round customer portfolios.

Review Billing Notices, attach to file and contact clients as required

Review all renewal, new policy, endorsement, cancellation and reinstatement documentation to ensure accuracy. Access & attach documents from Insurer web sites or scan and attach documents received via courier or Canada Post.

Data entry support to update customer contact information, process billing for renewals, new business, rewrites, endorsements and cancellations.

Confirm coverage with lienholders, lessors, mortgagees, etc.

Scan and attach relevant documents to client files in Powerbroker.

Maintain a professional working relationship with company underwriters

Obtain continuing education hours as required to maintain RIBO license

Minimum Requirements:

RIBO Licensed for at least 5 years.
Outstanding communication skills both written and oral.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiently works with Powerbroker, Word and Insurer Portals.
Displays strong sales and negotiation skills.
Enjoys dealing with the public and fostering client loyalty with strong customer service skills.
Strong work ethics and positive attitude
Enjoys working in a team environment
