Project Engineer (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 16 October 2017
It has been a long time but I did enjoy the people I worked with there and had a great manager. However, I believe the culture has changed a lot and even at the time they were drifting away from small projects to a large project focus. I can't comment on how things are now.
Business (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 4 May 2017
Not a great focus on work/life balance, company culture is lacking. This used to be a good place to work, with the company focused on core values, being people, but that isn't a focus anymore. There are some great people at this company, but for the most part, middle managers are not strong at leading people.
Comunication is non-existant between team members and other business units.
Rigger (Former Employee) – Fort Saskatchewan, AB – 19 August 2016
Gemini has been a good employer to me over the years , providing a dedication towards worker safety and comfort. They have a strong management team that provides leadership in all aspects of their different projects.
Project/Process Engineer (EIT) (Former Employee) – Ponoka, AB – 21 January 2016
1- Good place to work and have fun working 2-Friendly environment 3- Supportive managers 4- Unfortunately suffers from below average salary figures, poor high management performance and mediocre business development team, combined with tumbling price of oil, struggling greatly to cope with market conditions and has sequentially lost a significant number of its staff
Project Document Controller (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 18 March 2014
A typical day at Gemini when working in the document control office I would receive documents/drawings from the PE/PM and to a QA check on them to make sure everything was correct and nothing was missing. If items were correct, I would then enter the drawing/document numbers into our data base for record with the correct reason for issue and the correct REV number. After that, a transmittal is created with a listing of all the items being issued out to the client/vendor along with PDF version of the document/drawings.
