Loved working in this type of business.
CVS Cash Specialist (Former Employee), Charlotte, NC – May 15, 2013
I enjoyed working at this company. It was easy work, easy to learn if you pay attention. This company is willing to work with your schedule needs. However, management could use some improvement. No type of structure and unprofessional at times.

Retail armored car
Crew Leader (Former Employee), Whitehall, OH – April 4, 2013
Schedule is what you make it, the faster you work the faster you get home. Management could use some help in the logistics department and organization of daily operations. To focused on the bottom line, and misses all areas to save/ grow through there employees.

Comfortable
Driver/Messenger (Former Employee), Smyrna, GA – March 4, 2013
I would arrive at work at 6:30am clock in and then check over my truck so that it will run properly. After which would deliver cash on a route to specific companies like target or banks. Management did what they could to compensate for any issues that arose. Was pretty friendly with my co-workers. I was setup with someone different every other week – more... so it was easy to get friendly with my co-workers. The hardest part of the job was having to wait for the area to appear safe to deliver to the companies. The most enjoyable was meeting someone new everyday. – less

Delivering money all around the state of South Carolina and nothern Augusta, GA and Charlotte NC
Cash Vault Teller Supervisor (Former Employee), 97 Vantage pt drive Cayce, Sc 29033 – January 26, 2013
Pros: the workload depended on the day.
Cons: when vehicles would break down in the middle of a bank run.
A typical day at work consists of placing correct change needed for the day in the armor truck, cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle. I was in charge of delivering money to venues such as retails and banks. Filling cash orders and/or accepting and verifying large volume cash deposits. Management was ok; they dealt with important issues when employees – more... would bring them. The hardest part of the job was the stress level, the thought and the possibility of being held at gun point or having the armor truck robbed. The positive aspect of the job were meeting vast amount of different people through out the day. – less

A good job
Driver/Hopper (Former Employee), Sandston, VA – October 6, 2012
A typical work day was driving to different locations, dropping off and picking up bags of money. Safety was the number one key to a successful day. Counting the bags and making sure that everything was delivered in a timely manner and correct.

A job's a job, but this one should be a stepping stone
Armored Truck Driver/Messenger (Current Employee), Los Angeles, CA – July 30, 2012
Pros: paid lunch, your personal permits are paid for by the company.
Cons: this place does not get rid of the special individuals that make your day oh so fun.
I've been working here for 4 yrs now. The job is fairly easy; pick up cash and sell it to our vault, or you deliver money. Just now that the company is going full corp, they are pinching every penny they can. This meaning they rush you to finish your run within 8 hrs. Not complaining, I'm just stating the facts. You have have a long run, but it boils – more... down to how you and your partner mix. This makes or breaks your day and I can say at least 70 percent of the drivers/messengers are good to go. Other than that, it's going to be a long day. – less

Productive
Teller and MPS Operator (Former Employee), Pittsburgh, PA – July 5, 2012
Cons: shortbreaks
A typical day working at Garda was always interesting. I say interesting cause things may have changed day by day. I have learned how to count in bulk, fan and weigh money that were already strapped as well as spot counterfeit bills. Management was excellent and hands on as far as if we were behind they were quick to hop on to help us out. The co-workers – more... I had there were awesome always wiling to share ways on how to get your numbers up (deposits processed per hour) The hardest part I would say was the hardest was being alone in a room and not talking to anyone for eight plus hours. The most enjoyable part was being apart of a team. – less
