We are small manufacturing company looking to hire a Purchaser/Administrative assistant. This job will require a person who is *very organized and goal-oriented.

A team player is a must; working with instruction from the production manager, lead mechanic, and controller.

On the purchasing side, he/she will have access to company truck and will spend half the day

  • preparing parts lists, purchase plans,
  • shopping at hardware/mechanical stores,
  • following-up on purchases ordered, always
  • ensuring the manufacturing shop is stocked and processes are running smoothly.

On the administrative side of the job, he/she will be

  • assisting with transportation/logistics coordination (max. 2 per day),
  • payroll, and
  • equipment costing.

Salary is set at $14/h for first 60 days for training and evaluation, to be realigned as per evaluation. Position may provide up to $20.00/ for the right person

Any experience within heavy equipment servicing, manufacturing or purchasing would be a great asset. Must be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
