Our client, a successful and growing financial institution, is seeking a Loans Administrator for their office located in southern Etobicoke. This is a 12 month contract maternity leave replacement (commencing in mid-April of 2014). They offer a full array of investment and lending products and services to their customers across Ontario with a strong focus on personalized service and advice.

Responsibilities

The Loans Administrator is responsible for assisting the Lending department in meeting customer needs for personal and commercial loans, lines of credit and mortgages. This includes processing all loan documentation and payments, department administration and record keeping. This role is an integral part of the lending department and supports management and senior level staff in all of the back office tracking and reporting for the lending function.

Qualifications

As the ideal candidate, you will have:
*5 years of lending administration experience in the financial services industry with a bank or credit union
*A strong understanding of both retail and commercial lending
*Exceptional customer service skills
*Accuracy and a strong attention to detail
*Ability to work effectively, individually and as part of team
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Strong working knowledge of Excel is preferred
*Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
*A high school diploma
*A college diploma is an asset
